2015 COTSEAL Business Meeting at AAS

Several important initiatives for 2015 and beyond were discussed at our business meeting, March 27, 2015, at the Association for Asian Studies Conference in Chicago.

Online Thai Reading and Writing Course at University of Hawai'i

Thai Language program at University of Hawai'i-Manoa is offering an online Reading & Writing Thai course (Thai 107)  in Fall 2015.

This is a fully "asynchronous" (anytime) online course. It is offered via "UHM Outreach College" so that the general public (i.e. non-UH students) can enroll in the course via Outreach College and receive UHM credits.

This is a literacy course focusing on developing Thai script reading and writing skills, aimed towards heritage Thai or Lao students. However, any beginning learners of Thai can also take the course.
